John Lloyd clueless on why Sarah refused their third movie
Box-Office King John Lloyd Cruz has no idea why Pop Star Sarah Geronimo backed out doing what would've been their third film together.
"Wala ako sa posisyon para magbigay o magsalita kung bakit hindi siya natuloy. 'Di ko talaga alam kung ano 'yong totoo reason," Lloydy said on "Showbiz News Ngayon," Aug. 11.
The still untitled film would've been the follow-up to the box office hit "You Changed My Life."
He said he had an inkling Sarah would come to that decision.
"Nakapanood ako ng isang interview na kung saan sinabi niya na medyo hesitant na nga siya na gawin 'yung third instalment ng "A Very Special Love." Gusto niya kasing mangyari iwan na 'yung success pa sa part two na lang, sa 'You Changed My Life.' Kuha naman natin 'yon," he said.
Without betraying any emotion, Lloydy added: "Sabi rin niya, okay lang naman siguro kung sa ibang project, ibang istorya na."
The actor heaved a sigh of relief now that the tax case filed against him by the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) has been scrapped by the Quezon City Metropolitan Trial Court "due to technicalities and lack of probable cause."
"'Pag may kaso kang kinasasangkutan, lagi kang nag-aalala, eh. Recently, naayos na. Lahat na ng mga parties na involved and concerned, okay, na-settle na. Sino ba naman ang hindi matutuwa noon na malinaw na, naayos na?" he said.
