These celebrities had pounced on the controversial host for allowing a six-year-old boy, Jan-Jan Suan, to perform an apparent "macho dance" routine in his show that they said was tantamount to child abuse.
Revillame named the said stars one by one on the show. He then lashed out:
"Susuportahan n'yo ba ang mga taong iyan? Ano ang nagawa ninyo? Ano ang nagawa ninyo sa sambayanang Pilipino?" Willie said after naming his celebrity critics. "Kapwa tayo artista. Nakagawa ba kayo ng tulong? Nagbigay ba kayo sa Bantay Bata ng isang milyon? Ito, huwag kayong manghusga ng kapwa ninyo artista. Dapat magkakasama tayo. Tulungan ninyo kami kung nagkakamali kami, huwag kayong manghuhusga. Tandaan ninyo, yung masang Pilipino ang sumusuporta sa inyo."
Immediately after Willie's rant on TV, a number of these celebrities have posted their responses on Twitter.
Jim Paredes:
"How can a laos, old, over the hill guy like me destroy a sikat, powerful, rich Superstar like Willie? He did it all by himself."
"Good nyt people. Let the turmoil of the world be overcome by peaceful darkness."
K Brosas:
"Anyareeeee??!! Daming tweets nabasa ko about willing willie?! Galit sa akin at sa iba pang mga artista?! Sensya di ko napanood."
"Ako ay nagbigay ng OPINION ko...wala akong siniraan at binanggit na name....pwedeng basahin uli mga tweets ko, never ako nagbura! Peace! :)"
"Ang daming problema sa mundo, mga trahedya, gera etc...dun ako affected...demanda dahil sa opinion?? Wait na lng natin kung mangyayari yon:)"

"pack up! now ko lang nabasa lahat ng tweets. In light of this uproar, I will remain tolerant and silent."
Agot Isidro:
"Thank you for the outpouring of support. I am A-ok! Don't worry about me. Dun lang tayo sa tama."

Willie has taken a leave of absence from his show, which will go off the air for two weeks starting Monday, April 11. He said he will take advantage of the respite to decide whether or not to continue hosting the show.
