Marian Rivera relishes the idea that she will continue to bring life to a warrior princess for much longer.
The GMA-7 actress recalls the announcement made by management regarding Amaya, her primetime series set during the pre-colonial times.
Then last, last week, sinabi nila na hanggang January na. So naka-dalawang extension siya. Ang saya ng Pasko kasi may trabaho," Marian told PEP.ph in a recent interview.
Last week, Mikael Daez's character named Lumad was killed off from Amaya.
Aljur Abrenica will soon be introduced as Dayaw, the new leading man of Marian in GMA-7's epicserye.
The actor was supposed to be seen on GMA-7's epicserye last Tuesday, September 29, but due to the bad weather brought about by Typhoon Pedring, the plot of the show was modified. Aljur will reportedly appear on the October 4 episode of Amaya.

Marian said that she doesn't have problems working with Aljur because they already worked with each other for the fantaserye Dyesebel and the movie Temptation Island.
Aside from Aljur, there will also be another female character who will soon join the cast of Amaya.
NEW SITCOM. Marian is also excited about her upcoming project on GMA-7: topbilling her own comedy series.
"Meron akong sitcom, yung papalit sa Show Me Da Manny. Inaayos pa pero sariling sitcom ko na," she said with a smile.
Marian believes that working on a sitcom is suited to her because of her jolly personality.
How does she feel about being tapped to star in comedies, drama and even in shows with action sequences such as Amaya?
"Ang sarap mag-experiment!" she exclaims. "At least, kahit saan ka ilagay, flexible ka. Pwede ka mag-drama, horror or sitcom.
When asked about her dream roles, Marian enumerated: "Marami pa!
